Democrat Chosen To Challenge Mary Bono In The Fall

In the race for the 45th Congressional District, Mary Bono could face a serious challenge this year for her seat in Congress. That challenge will come from David Roth. He is the winner in the Democratic primary against Marty Schwimmer.

Roth held a very upbeat victory party.

“My job for the next five months and one day is to make sure we are bringing together people from Moreno Valley to Blythe to vote into office the charge they want to see,” Roth told us. “This campaign is about the people in this district and we intend to fulfill our commitment to them.”

Roth estimated last night that a successful campaign against Mary Bono in November will be expensive, costing as much as one million dollars.
