Multi-Million Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Desert Hot Springs

DESERT HOT SPRINGS- A Chevron gas station along Interstate 10 near Palm Springs sold a SuperLotto Plus ticket that is worth $7 million, the California Lottery announced.

The ticket for Saturday night’s drawing bears winning numbers 8, 19, 20, 21, 41 and mega number 3. It was sold by the Chevron just north of the freeway’s Gene Autry Trail interchange, at 22600 Palm Drive in North Palm Springs.

“We’re very excited and happy that someone out here won,” said Emily Rambo, 22, a cashier at the Chevron gas station where the winning ticket was sold.

“You always hear about it happening in other places, but not in small towns like ours,” she said.

Rambo said the lucky ticket-holder had not been in to talk to anyone at the station about the winning ticket since she heard the news. “We found out this morning. The lottery people called us,” she said.

Rambo said she was a new employee not aware of any other winning tickets having been sold at that location.
