Man Stabbed In Indio, Search Launched For Suspects
INDIO -Police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a homeless man at an Indio market, Tuesday night.
It happened around 4:45pm at the Baja Meat Market on Van Buren, just behind the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
Police say the victim is a 46-year old man, who does go to the rescue mission.
Sheriff’s deputies say the attacker tried to stab the victim several times during an argument, but he missed and only cut the back of his leg.
The victim walked to the Palm Tree Inn for help and was taken to the hospital.
