Road Work Could Clog Up Valley Roads

PALM DESERT -We have a quick note about some possible traffic delays.
In Rancho Mirage, Monterey will be down to one lane in each direction between Gerald Ford and Frank Sinatra.
Crews are re-paving the roadway there.
And we may be enjoying great weather right now, but the storms from a few weeks ago did some major damage on local roads.
Thursday, CalTrans crews will be working on Interstate 10 from5am to 4pm.
The number 3 eastbound lane will be shut down on the stretch of road from one mile west of Cook Street in Palm Desert to one mile east of Washington Street in Indio.
Also the on and off ramps will be closed on Washington, as well as the on-ramp on Jackson.
On the westbound side,the number two and three lanes will be closed at Jefferson.
