The Palm Springs Air Museum is celebrating it’s 14th anniversary this weekend.

There was an open house Saturday to give people a tour of the museum as well an inside look at some of their vintage planes.

The museum also treated people to a flying exhibition and honored the anniversary of the Japanese surrender during World War 2.

The event continues Sunday starting at 10 a.m. with a special program commemorating the 65th anniversary of the end of World War 2.

The museum will start a special speaker series with veterans from different wars.

Admission to the event is free.
