Small Earthquake Felt In Coachella Valley

A small earthquake shook residents along the California/Mexico border on Thursday afternoon, and was felt as far away as the Coachella Valley.

The temblor, measuring 4.4 in magnitude, hit at 12:22 p.m. and was centered 9 miles northwest of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, and 26 miles southeast of Calexico.

News Channel 3 viewers called the newsroom to ask about the earthquake.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
