Body Discovered In Whitewater River
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies confirmed they found a body in the Whitewater River near Palm Springs on Monday afternoon.
The body is identified as 46 year-old Tammi Lynn Sherlock from Palm Springs.
She is confirmed as the missing woman deputies and police from Palm Springs fanned out in search of near Highway 111 and Windy Point.
Sherlock was last seen inter-tubing down the river on Sunday. Witnesses said she went under water and never re-surfaced.
