Cathedral City Firefighters Battle Garage Fire In Panorama

Firefighters battled a garage fire burning in the city’s Panorama neighborhood, stopping it before it reached the house.

Dispatchers said firefighters were sent to the intersection of Tortuga Drive and Avenida Maravilla around 11 a.m. where smoke was seen pouring from a garage.

News Channel 3 photographers report the fire was contained in about 20 minutes and did not reach the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; no one was injured.
