3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Near La Quinta

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake has hit near the city of La Quinta, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit around 11:53 a.m., centered abour 13 miles east southeast of Anza, 23 miles southwest of Indio and 26 miles south of Palm Springs.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
