2 Teens Shot At Indio Apartment Complex

Indio police confirm two teens were shot and wounded at an apartment complex Monday afternoon.

Spokesman Ben Guitron said officers arrived at the Plaza Del Sol Apartment Complex, which is located on the 46000 block of Arabia Street, at around 3:45 p.m. and found one teen suffering from at least one gunshot wound outside.

Inside an apartment, officers found a second victim.

Witnesses told police they saw the suspect running down Arabia Street toward John Nobles.

One of the victims was transported to JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, and one was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
