Party-Goer Shot In Early Monday Shooting In Coachella

Coachella police are looking for a man who shot and wounded a man during a party that stretched into the early morning hours on Monday.

Police spokesman Angel Ramos said officers were called to the Riverside County Fire Station on 6th Street at about 4:50 a.m., where a man had reportedly walked in with a gunshot wound.

The man told police he had been at a party on the 51000 block of Sunset, where he got into an argument with another person at the party. The argument ended with at least one shot being fired.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is expected to survive, Ramos said.
