FDIC shuts down Palm Desert National Bank

The sole remaining facility of Palm Desert National Bank has been shut down by the office of the controller of currency. It will reopen on Monday as a branch of Pacific Premier Bank. Deposits will continue to be insured by the FDIC. So customers should continue to use their existiing branch until they receive notice of the changes. The failed bank, Palm Desert National Bank, has had problems for sometime.
