Mormon Helping Hands

People around the desert spent their day giving service as part of the “Mormon Helping Hands” project.

The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints organized a number of projects helping out local cities today.

Volunteers met in Palm Desert, then spread out around the valley.

KESQ Sports Director Spencer Linton and his family pitched in, helping out in Indio.

“We are at the YMCA off-site storage facility, we’re organizing boxes. Just little things that you wouldn’t really think about, but are time consuming and ultimately a way to give back and help the community,” Spencer Linton said.

“Mormon Helping Hands” is an annual event helping to promote service in local communites.
