Alcohol blamed in crash that leaves teenage boy dead
The cause of a crash in the east valley is still under investigation this morning, and police are asking for the public’s help.
Police say the car, driven by a teenage boy, crashed and flipped over along Industrial Way.
Investigators believe the crash happened Saturday night or early Sunday morning. They say no one was in the vehicle when they arrived.
Police say the teen was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor and they are asking anyone who witnesses the crash or has information to contact Coachella police at (760) 863-8990.
