Dead body discovered in Desert Hot Springs identified

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified a man found dead in a Desert Hot Springs field.

Jeffrey Schnorr was discovered around 9:15 a.m. Monday in the desert area east of Ironwood and Verbena drives, according to police and coroner’s officials.

The cause of his death is under investigation, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
