President Obama takes off in Air Force One
President Obama has left the Desert.
He arrived at Palm Springs International Airport in his motorcade at 1:50 p.m. and Air Force One took off around 2 p.m.
There were some onlookers along the motorcade’s route taking pictures and waving as the President left Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage at 1:35 p.m.
President Obama is on his way back to Washington after spending the weekend at Sunnylands Estate. He met with King Abdullah II for dinner and meeting on Friday night and spent the weekend relaxing and playing golf with some of his high school friends.
