Lanes reopen on I-10 after multi-car crash
Westbound traffic was backed up for miles on I-10 after several cars were involved in a crash. CHP was forced to close all lanes near the Cook Street exit for about 30 minutes while they handled the situation.
All lanes were reopened at 8:56 a.m.
The accident, which was east of the Cook St. exit, backed up traffic all the way to Jefferson Street in Indio. At least four cars were involved in the crash. There were some minor injuries, according to CHP.
