Woman hands 12 year old meth, needles to hide from cops
A woman who was on probation has been arrested for felony child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance after police found close to an ounce of methamphetamine in her car.
Jacqueline Noonan, 40, was arrested in the 7300 block of Dumosa Avenue in Yucca Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Noonan was contacted by probation officers and sheriff’s deputies with San Bernardino County as she sat in her car. After searching her vehicle, authorities found a pouch containing nearly an ounce of meth and hypodermic needles on the 12 year old victim.
Through the investigation, officers determined that Noonan handed the pouch to the 12 year old in an attempt to hide the paraphernalia from police.
She was arrested for felony child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance for sales. She was also charged with violating probation.
Noonan was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and is being held without bail. The 12 year old victim is in protective custody with the Department of Children and Family Services, according to police.
