Amber Alert canceled, girl found safe

An Amber Alert was canceled on Monday after a three year old girl was found running through a field near the area she was reported missing from on Sunday evening.

An Amber Alert was issued for Tanya Ruiz after CHP said she went missing from her mother’s car around 7:45 p.m. Sunday in Fresno County.

Her mother said she was leaving for the store when she realized she left her wallet inside. She strapped Tanya into her car seat and went back into the house.

When she returned to the car, Tanya was gone.

The girl was found safe on Monday morning, there was no more information available regarding her condition.
