Missing 88-year old woman is safe

An 88-year old woman missing since last week is safe tonight.

Indio Police say Bettie West Pente showed up at an assisted living center today in Palm Desert around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say she was in good physical condition.

Last week, police issued a Silver Alert to find Pente who they said was considered an ‘at risk’ adult. Pente had left a care center in Indio last Thursday.

Authorities aren’t sure where Pente was over the weekend.
