Celebrity Chef opening restaurant at Hard Rock

A new restaurant from a big name chef is set to open at the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Palm Springs.

“Iron Chef” competitor and resturantuer Kerry Simon will open a restaurant next month at the hotel.

Simon has been dubbed the “Rock ‘n Roll Chef” by Rolling Stone. He competed on “Iron Chef USA” and “Iron Chef America” on the Food Network. He’s also appeared on “Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox.

The restaurant, “Simon Kitchen and Bar,” is slated to open in mid-September and will feature “social” plates that encourage sharing.
