Fire destroys Thousand Palms mobile home
A man and his dog are out of their home in Thousand Palms Sunday.
The homeowner, only identified as Steve, tells us at around 2:30 a.m. his barbecue sent embers or flames into the roof, quickly igniting the home.
The house is located on Westchester Rd. in the Tri Palms Estates.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out within 30 minutes, but Steve says everything he owns is gone.
Steve and his dog are getting help from the Red Cross.
