Rape trial continues in Tennessee

The rape trial of a former Xavier Prep and College of the Desert football player is set to resume Tuesday in Nashville, Tenn..

Brandon Vandenberg faced another intense day of testimony Monday after a 90-minute delay.

Prosecutors were working to black-out certain parts of cell-phone pictures and conversations they were presenting as evidence.

Vandenberg and fellow football player Cory Batey are accused of raping Vandenburg’s then-girlfriend while she was unconscious in his dorm room in June of 2013.

Officer Chad Gish was on the stand for a 2nd straight day.

Gish analyzes digital data and spent the day narrating videos, texts, and phone messages.

Gish testified that he was able to find a video clip that prosecutors say Vandenberg sent to his friend Joseph Quinzio, also a former Xavier Prep and C.O.D. student.
