Indio residents offered free dog vaccinations & microchip services

Free dog vaccination and microchip services will be offered to Indio residents on Friday and Saturday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Officials with Riverside County Animal Services said the event will take place at Miles Avenue Park, located on Miles Avenue in Old Town Indio between Arabia Street and Deglet Noor Street.

The free services will be available to the first 250 dogs each day; there is no registration for the event.

Riverside County Animal Services and the city of Indio joined together for the free services to help dog owners meet requirements and get their dogs licensed, according to the release.
