Rescued woman to be represented by Gloria Allred
Some new developments are taking place regarding the case of the missing couple from Orange County who became lost in San Diego County while heading to La Quinta to visit their son.
They were missing for two weeks before someone riding an off-road vehicle found them on an Indian reservation. Cecil Knutson had died, but his wife Diana Bedwell was found alive and severely dehydrated.
News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 learned the family transferred her to Desert Regional Medical Center, and then Eisenhower Medical Center where she’s now recovering in a rehabilitation center.
We’ve also learned that famed attorney Gloria Allred has been hired by Bedwell, but it’s still unclear why Bedwell needs an attorney. Allred gave a live interview Tuesday night at our studios but there’s still a lot of details being concealed.
