Cal Fire rescues lion cub in Valley Fire

We’re getting a look at a lion cub Cal Fire crews saved as they battled the Valley Fire up in northern California.

Crews saved this cub, it’s paws badly burned. Now the cub is with the Department of Fish and Game doing well and will get released when his paws are better.

The Valley Fire killed four people and destroyed more than a thousand homes. It started in Lake County on September 12th and spread to Napa and Sonoma Counties. It is now 100% contained.
