Winner of “Mrs. Orange County” pageant arrested for child porn
A mother of three who won the Mrs. Orange County pageant has been arrested on suspicion of using a 4-year-old relative to make child porn.
Twenty-five-year-old Meghan Alt of Irvine was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of committing lewd conduct with a child and producing and distributing child pornography.
Investigators believe she created and sent sexually explicit images of the 4-year-old girl to a Southern California Marine in exchange for cash and gifts.
Alt remains jailed Thursday. It’s not immediately clear whether she has an attorney.
The Orange County Register said Alt turned down a request for a jailhouse interview.
Alt won last year’s Mrs. Orange County pageant and competed in the 2014 Mrs. California contest.
