Two people in hospital after car crash at drive-thru in Desert Hot Springs

Two people were sent to the hospital Saturday night after a car crash at a drive-thru in Desert Hot Springs.

Witnesses say it happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the Carl’s Jr. on Palm Drive, when the driver hit the beam of the drive-thru after mistakenly hitting the gas pedal instead of the brakes.

The people involved in the car crash had no serious injuries.
