BB’s at the River closing due to lack of business

KESQ and CBS Local 2 have confirmed that BB’s at the River will be the latest restaurant to sail away from the Rancho Mirage entertainment and shopping complex on Highway 111.

Jack Srebnik opened the restaurant last Spring after Acqua Pazza closed, following years of business at the location.

Srebnik said they were not doing enough business to stay open. He said he is putting it up for sale, and that he is working with all the employees to try to find them employment.

Srebnik owns The Slice in Rancho Mirage, JT’s Diner and two Maracas restaurants in the Coachella Valley.

We have not been able to confirm if another restaurant will be taking over the spot but we did squash a rumor by talking to the former owner of Acqua Pazza, who confirms his restaurant is not returning to the location.
