Man found dead on I-10 ramp identified

On Wednesday, authorities released the name of an Indio man who was found dead on a freeway ramp over the weekend.

Stanley McConnell, 55, was found at 12:23 p.m. Saturday on the eastbound Golf Center Parkway onramp off Interstate 10, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

McConnell’s cause of death was not released, but Indio police indicated Saturday that there were no signs of foul play.
