Pride returns to Palm Springs for a weekend full of celebration

Pride is back in Palm Springs, shutting down parts of Palm Canyon Drive for a weekend full of festivities.

People are traveling from all over the world to celebrate LGBT pride in a city “Like No Place Else”. Meanwhile, vendors are setting up shop, flags decorating businesses and flocks of people are enjoying the summer-like weather.

“I’ve been here on a number of occasions. It’s a fun little drive to get away from the city on the weekend. And all the other prides are usually in the summer, June, July, so it’s kind of fun to have something to do in November,” said David Aaron, who is visiting from Burbank.

The party continues Sunday with the Pride parade starting at 10 a.m. Expect a diverse group of artists, entertainers and great music. The best part, everything is free!
