Fire crews work to put out fire in Desert Hot Springs

Fire crews are responding to a fire at the corner of Hacienda Avenue and Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs.

We got calls into the newsroom around 7 a.m. from viewers who saw a fence catch fire.

Fire crews are on scene working to put the fire out. Witnesses said the fire burned a power pole and some brush in the area.
