2 motorcyclists taken to hospital after crash on Monroe Street
Emergency crews were called to a motorcycle crash on Monroe Street in Indio Friday morning. It happened near the eastbound I-10 off ramp. According to authorities, two motorcyclists were taken to the hospital.
We don’t know how badly they were injured at this time.
All lanes of Monroe Street are open to traffic.

This is the second crash involving a motorcycle Friday morning. Multiple lanes were closed on I-10 near Bob Hope Drive after a motorcyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle. The cause of that crash is still under investigation and the coroner will release the rider’s identity after family is notified.
