Firefighters contain house fire in Thermal, 4 adults and 6 children displaced
Riverside County fire crews contained a fire at a single-story residence in the 87000 block of Avenue 66, near Fillmore Street, in Thermal.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze broke out shortly before 1:30 p.m. and the first arriving engine company reported a single story, single family dwelling, fully involved in fire. The house was left in a complete loss.
The American Red Cross has been requested to assist with four adults and six children displaced by the fire. A second structure was 50% damaged due to the fire.
There are no reports of injuries.
