One person hospitalized in crash involving two big rigs

One person is in hospital moderate injuries after a crash involving two big rigs on Interstate 10 near Whitewater.

California Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 6:06 p.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 10 just east of Whitewater Canyon Road .
