Deputies investigating death of man found in Joshua Tree

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a suspicious death after a man’s body was found in Joshua Tree.

On Tuesday at around 11 a.m. deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to Aberdeen Drive east of Sunfair Road for a report of a body found in the area. When deputies arrived, they located a white male adult dead at the scene.

Due to the suspicious circumstances, detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail were requested and are conducting the investigation.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause and manner of death.
