Local family asks for help to find shooting suspect
Authorities have identified the suspect in a shooting that left three people injured in Thousand Palms over the weekend.
On Saturday at 11:58 p.m. Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the 29000 block of Sierra Del Sol.
Deputies arrived within minutes and found three gunshot victims. The three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
During the investigation, deputies found the suspect shot the three victims and left prior to authorities arriving.
Julio Delgado says his brother, 32-year-old Guillermo Delgado is one of the three victims. He is recovering at Desert Regional Medical Center after being shot eight times. He suffered gunshot wounds to the back, chest, stomach and both his legs.
The suspect has been identified as Carlos Ulloa, age 41 of Thousand Palms.
“Who knows if it will happen again. People are in danger out there and we’re just trying to bring justice to the family and all the victims that were involved,” Julio said.
