53rd Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade

The Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade is kicking off on October 29 and there is still time to enter a float, participate as a food vendor or set up a booth in the Kid’s Zone.

The Parade, is the largest parade of its kind in the world and is the longest running in the Coachella Valley.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Gavin MacLeod, most known for his role as Captain Stubing on the Love Boat.

Visitors will enjoy and experience a vast array of camaraderie with school bands, businesses, organizations, and individuals participating with phenomenal floats on carts.

The Parade steps off along El Paseo at 12 p.m. with this year’s theme: “Desert Safari.”

Featuring decorated electric golf carts, larger than life floats, marching bands galore, food booths, children’s games, celebrities, and dignitaries.
