Traveling with Francoise: Shelter Island in San Diego
Francoise Rhodes was in studio Saturday morning sharing her latest adventure to the Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island in San Diego.
The strip of land connects to Point Loma and is only ten minutes from downtown San Diego and the airport. The “island” is in between the marina and channel. Rhodes describes it as a non-stop water show, with cruise ships, military ships, and private yachts going up and down the channel.
The Kona Kai Resort is located next to a park and is surrounded with waterfront views. The resort recently completed a multi-million-dollar remodeling. Some amenities include a restaurant, spa, fitness center, pool and a marina to park your boat.
