Evzin Mediterranean Cuisine opens second location in Palm Springs

You don’t have to travel far to feel like you’re relaxing on the Mediterranean when you’re eating at Evzin. The owners are opening a second location in Palm Springs.

“We’re very causal, with fine dining touches. We like to host our guests, instead of serve them. I want everyone to feel like it’s my house,” owner John Tsoutis said.

Tsoutis and his wife opening their second location less than a year after opening their first spot in Palm Desert.

“We always wanted to be in Palm Springs ’cause we live here. And one of the reasons why we wanted to move here is because it’s beautiful and it felt like home,” Tsoutis said.

The food is a combination of Mediterranean cuisines.

“Greek format. We try and lighten it up. We don’t do traditional dishes. We interpret dishes we have in our region. We touch bases from Greek, Albania, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel,” Tsoutis said.

Evzin is now open and accepting reservations.
