Coachella Valley residents rattled by Easter earthquake

According to the Southern California Seismic Network, a 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit nine miles from Anza at 7:53 Sunday night. It had a depth of 1.3 miles.

Viewers calling into the newsroom reported shaking in Palm Desert and Cathedral City.

In 2010, a 7.1 Easter Sunday earthquake hit near Baja, California, and was felt strongly throughout the state.
