Two motorists street racing injured in two separate crashes In Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – Street races and drivers speeding to evade capture caused two crashes in Jurupa Valley.

One man was taken a hospital with major injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Agua Mansa Road between Brown and Hall avenues, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Investigator Armando Munoz. It happened at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.

About 15 minutes later, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Agua Mansa Road and Market Street, where one driver suffered a minor injury, Munoz said. That person refused to be transported to an area hospital.

Surveillance video shows a small sedan sliding sideways through a parking lot, bending a parking bollard, and crashing into a small market, where it smashed into a refrigerator and broke a water line.
