Four injured, one seriously, in Rancho Mirage crash
A four-vehicle crash today in Rancho Mirage left one person trapped in the wreckage, according to fire officials.
One person sustained major injuries, one person sustained moderate injuries, and two people sustained minor injuries.
All four patients were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.

The collision was reported at 10:41 a.m. at the intersection of Dinah Shore Drive and Monterey Avenue, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
The exact number of people hurt, and the severity of their injuries, was unclear, but fire officials said one person had to be extricated from the wreckage.
