Remembrance marks third anniversary of San Bernardino terror attack

The victims of the 2015 terror attack in San Bernardino are being remembered and honored, three years after the deadly shooting.

Fourteen people were killed in the December 2 shooting. Twenty-two others were seriously injured.

“We will always remember the people we loved and cherished and we will continue to support those who are still healing from physical and emotional wounds,” San Bernardino Board of Supervisors Chairman Robert Lovingood said in a statement posted on the county website.

The Board of Supervisors asked the public to join them in a moment of remembrance at 10:55 on Sunday morning.

Lovingood also asked the public to “please continue to support those who are still hurting and healing and continue to look out for each other.” They posted a link for resources to help those experiencing trauma from that day.

The perpetrators of the attack, Jihadi terrorists Sayeed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, went on a killing spree at the Inland Regional Center, and were killed in a shootout with police the same day.
