Power restored in Coachella following outage

UPDATE: Power has been restored in Coachella. According to IID’s twitter page, the outage lasted for just over an hour.

589 Imperial Irrigation District customers in the city of Coachella are without power due to a power outage.

The outage was reported at 10:14 a.m. An IID troubleshooter is currently en route to the scene.

It is unclear at this time what caused the outage. There is currently no timeline for restoration.
