Senior singing group spreads holiday cheer

It is anything but a silent night at Heritage Palms in Indio.

The Courtside Carollers have been rehearsing their favorite holiday tunes since November. Each one of the singers is a tennis club member over the age of 70, hence the name of the group. Helping spread the holiday cheer is their talented 87-year-old piano accompanist.

None of the carollers have been trained professionally, but they all love to sing.

The performances are open to anyone.
