Man accused of assaulting woman at KOA campground
A man was arrested Wednesday night at the KOA campground, in the 70-000 block of Dillon Road, and is now facing charges related to domestic violence, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest.
Deputies were called to the scene, and after arriving say they found a female victim who was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The woman told deputies her boyfriend had assaulted her, and prevented her from leaving him.
The man arrested is identifed as 45-year-old John Hemmer, of South Dakota.
