Dr. Drew Pinsky speaks at Rancho Mirage Speakers Series
Popular television and radio personality Dr. Drew Pinsky spoke at the Rancho Mirage Speakers Series program Tuesday evening.
Dr. Drew spoke about his experience of working over three decades in addiction medicine and a psychiatric hospital. He also talked about the opioid crisis in America, describing it as a tsunami.
“Well, we are fixing it right now. The federal government has done a nice job and California state is getting on it and my profession has turned the battleship around. You will see data coming out in the next 6 to 12 months that will be much much better,” Dr. Drew said.

The speaker series will continue next month with American TV journalist Elizabeth Vargas as guest speaker.
