Mobil clerk arrested for allegedly selling alcohol to minors

A clerk at a gas station in Cathedral City has been arrested for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor.

According to the Cathedral City Police Department, Elizabeth Seamore, 35, of Palm Springs was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the Mobil gas station on Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.

CCPD say this happened during an operation where minors, under the direct supervision of CCPD, would try to buy alcohol from several retail licensees in the city

Seamore allegedly sold alcohol to a minor decoy and was arrested shortly after the sale. CCPD revealed she was on active CDCR parole at the time of the arrest.

Seamore has been subsequently booked at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning. She is being held on no bail.
