Indio resident named 56th District Woman of the Year
Assemblymember Garcia names Indio resident Beatriz E. Gonzalez as the 56th Assembly District’s 2019 Woman of the Year.
Gonzalez has served as the Coachella Valley Unified School District’s District Coordinator of Expanded Learning After School Program. She is known as a consummate community volunteer and advocate.
In 2018, the Riverside County Latino Commission recognized her work to promote mental wellness and hearing by dedicating “Bea’s House” Girl’s Youth Treatment Facility.
Beatriz will be presented the award Monday in Sacramento along with other honorees from across the State.
